A British promoter Eddie Hearn told when the fight of his mentee Luke Campbell with Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko will take place, as iFL TV reported.
“Look at the situation with Luke Campbell. He will be boxing for WBC title. Miguel Garcia will probably leave the belt vacant. Bob Arum wants Lomachenko – Campbell fight for WBC title. What would you do? Would you first hold the fight for the vacant title and then bring the titles together in the fight with Lomachenko? Would you accept the fight with Lomachenko for a double fee? Or would you get four times more for the joint fight? Speaking of Campbell, who has ten fights left in his career, there should be a fight for the vacant belt. If Lomachenko beats Commey and then he will box with Campbell, it will be a great fight,” Hearn said.
As it was reported, on April 12, Lomachenko defended his titles in a fight with Anthony Crolla, another mentee of Hearn.
