Liverpool FC celebrated the victory in UEFA Champions League 2018/2019. In the final game of the tournament, The Reds overmatched Tottenham Hotspurs. The game took place at Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid.
It all went south for Tottenham in the very beginning of the match; the ball hit Moussa Sissoko's hand, and the referee pointed to the spot, judging there should be a penalty involved. Thus, Mohammed Salah scored already on the second minute of the game.
Tottenham got the ball from Liverpool, as Jurgen Klopp's team stretched behind and rearranged the defense lines. However, The Spurs failed to alert Liverpool's goalkeeper Alison, and instead allowed another goal; Origi sent a low ball into the net after the corner.
So, it's a 2-0 win - and a truly amazing night for Liverpool and their fans.
The Reds have claimed heir fifth Cup of the European Champions. Their opponents, Tottenham, have never won single one yet; this was the first final of UEFA Champions League in their history.
