Today, on February 18, Dynamo Kyiv FC will have its first match of the 1/16 finals of the Europa League against Club Brugge Koninklijke Voetbalvereniging.
The Belgium club is coming to Ukraine shorthanded with some of the players and coaches getting infected with Covid-19.
Besides, the decision of the Ukrainian authorities to allow a small number of fans to attend the match will provide an additional boost to the Kyiv club.
The only time Dynamo and Brugge faced each other was in the Champions League qualifiers. Another Ukrainian club, Shakhtar Donetsk FC, will face Maccabi Tel-Aviv.
As we reported earlier, Roman Yaremchuk, forward of the national football team of Ukraine, represented KAA Gent in the match of the Belgian championship against Royal Excel Mouscron.
The Ukrainian footballer opened the score in the middle of the first half. After the break, he utilized a pass from Tissoudali, which pushed Gent even further. Eventually, Yaremchuk scored two more times, making a hat-trick.
Thus, Roman Yaremchuk has already scored 13 goals in the Belgian championship.
