More than 70,000 visitors could come to Kyiv for UEFA Champions League final game. Hennadiy Plis, first deputy head of Kyiv city state administration said that as quoted by the city hall’s press service.
The authority says that the number could be three times the number of visitors who came to Kyiv during the final part of Eurovision song contest 2017.
‘It is about Kyiv’s image as a reliable partner that can duly host and conduct international-class events. It is about prestige and security that we can provide our guests. It is about making our capital city more popular and comfortable for living – both for the locals and for the visitors,’ Plis said.
Previously, the city hall approved allocation of almost 1 million U.S. dollars for hosting UEFA Champions League final. The game will take place at the ‘Olimpiysky’ National Sports Complex in May 2018.
