Kyiv’s city council has approved assigning 25 million Ukrainian hryvnas (almost one million U.S. dollars) for organization and conduct of the final game of this year’s UEFA Champions League. It is scheduled for May 2018.

MPs of the city council supported the respective draft law.

‘In accordance with the agreement between UEFA and Kyiv city council, the city hall took upon itself the commitment to host official delegations, organize respective events, adorn locations with UEFA and Champions League symbols,’ reads the law.
