Europe’s largest amateur boxing forum will be held in Ukraine this year. This year’s event will be taking place in Kharkiv, northeastern Ukraine, on June 14 through 16, 2017. Volodymyr Prodyvus, the president of Ukraine’s Boxing Federation, said this as quoted by the organization’s press service.

Previously, the official said that Ukraine, Russia and Turkey struggled for the right to host the competition.

Franco Falcinelli, the president of European Boxing Confederation, expressed confidence that Ukraine will be able to host the event on the highest possible level.
