Johannes Bø, the Norwegian biathlete who came second at the World Cup stage in Oestersund, Sweden was quite emotional when commenting on the event's outcome. As is known, Ukraine's Dmytro Pidruchny claimed victory in that race, becoming this country's first gold winner in biathlon ever.
'Before my final frontier, I felt that the silver would be a huge failure. It was my own failure, and it nags me badly. I made a huge, not a little mistake. It's just a disgrace. We came to the World Cup and then, we give the gold to Ukrainians', he said as quoted by Aftenposten.
'I was not good enough for my piece of cake. I'll go home and have some cereals with milk. I was a total asshole; it's my current skill in the off-hand shooting. When you see how the race went, you understand that silver was a disappointment,' he concluded.
On March 10, Ukraine's biathlete Dmytro Pidruchny won the race, defeating Johannes Bø and Fillon Maillet.
