On the other hand the annual summit in Lausanne is not valid according to the IOC charter, in which the meeting is not listed. It was established by the current head of the IOC Thomas Bach to discuss in an informal setting the agenda of the Olympic world. The publication writes that the head of the IOC remains on friendly terms with President Vladimir Putin, who in 2013 came up with the support of the Bach's appointment to the post.
