Elena Valbe, the President of the Federation of Ski Race in Russia claimed that the commission of the International Olympic committee (IOC) recognized Maksim Vylegzhanin, Aleksey Petukhov, Evgenia Shapovalova and Julia Ivanova, the Russian sportsmen guilty in the violation of the anti-doping rules during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

‘The results of the sportsmen in Sochi are annulled. Also, they are disqualified from the participation in the Olympic Games for the life term’, Valbe said.

Maksim Vylegzhanin won three silver medals in the marathon, team sprint and relay-race at Winter Olympics in Sochi.
