Earlier, it became known that UEFA could strip Manchester City of the right to participate in the Champions League. The team is accused of providing false information during the solution of the previous case in 2014. It was about the financial fair-play and the club provided false information about the sum of the sponsors’ agreements. The UEFA has already punished this club for violation of the financial restrictions. Then Manchester City was fined for 49 million pounds, the application for the Champions League was shortened and the restriction for the transfer payments was implemented for two seasons.
