Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, the world's absolute heavyweight champion, spoke with the British press; the fighter shared his reasons why he decided to fight Tony Bellew.

As is known, the Usyk-Bellew bout is scheduled for November 10 in Manchester.

'It is exactly part of the strategy and why we have this co-operation with Eddie Hearn. He has Tony, he has Anthony, he has Dillian Whyte and a couple more heavyweights. It's the best way, the shortest - not the easiest - way to fight Anthony', the Ukrainian said.

The Ukrainian is to defend four champion titles (WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring magazine, - 112 International) in this fight.

Recently, the first staredown between Oleksandr Usyk and Tony Bellew took place at Wembley stadium in London. 'I told him to his face: 'You are nothing, I don't fear nothing, I don't fear you, I am not in awe of you and on November 10th I am going to punch you in the face as hard as I can', Bellew said as quoted by Givemesport.
