Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko could make his dream come true this weekend. One final step to the absolute champion title in the lightweight division is his upcoming fight against Teofimo Lopez, reports

The fight will take place on the night from October 17 to 18.

"Of course, it's a great and meaningful fight for those who love boxing and know a thing or two about it. I guess this fight will make history. Since I made my way into professional sport, I have always wanted to become the absolute champion of the world. I always wanted to hold all fourt titles. I tried to do it in the featherweight, and then, I switched category and made a try in the super featherweight. Now I'm close to my dream in the lightweight division. I have no idea how this long-lasting idle time will affect me. We'll figure it out on Saturday. I have never spent entire year beyond the ring. It will be the first time, and I don't know how it goes", Lomachenko said.
