The national team of Poland hosted their Ukrainian counterparts in a friendly match.
The start of the match turned out to be an active one. Teams threatened each other with dangerous attacks. After that, the Ukrainians got the ball and tried to score in the opponent's goalposts. Yarmolenko got a chance to score a penalty, but the ball ended up hitting the bar.
At the end of the first half, Ukraine’s Lunin ran from the penalty spot to intercept but failed to kick the ball out properly. As a result, the Poles managed to score their first goal by conducting a precise long-range shot.
In the second half, the Poles punished their opponents for poor implementation once again - 2:0.
It should be noted that the next match of the Ukrainian national team will take place on November 14 against Germany.
As we reported earlier, Undefeated lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury was not impressed with Oleksandr Usyk's skills after watching his recent bout against Derek Chisora.
“But on that performance I can say that none of the top 15 heavyweights out there are sweating Oleksandr Usyk at the moment, unfortunately. None of us are quaking. Is that it? Everyone’s like, ‘Is that what all the hype was about?’," he stated.
