Ukrainian midfielder Maryan Shved, who represents K.V. Mechelen, scored two goals and made one assist in the team’s last match against Waasland-Beveren.
His performance allowed Mechelen to get the victory on that night (3:2). At this point, Shved has three goals in 10 games for the club. He was considered the MVP of the match.
23-year-old Shved is a ward of FC Karpaty Lviv. He was bought by Sevilla in 2015 but later returned to Lviv. Then Shved signed a contract with Celtic, but things did not work out with Scotland. He has been playing for K.V. Mechelen since the last summer.
As we reported earlier, the forward of Ukraine's national team Roman Yaremchuk may join the Italian A.S. Roma.
The Romans have already initiated negotiations on Yaremchuk's transfer with KAA Gent. Roma is ready to pay 12 million euros. Gent, in turn, wants to make more money out of the transfer, so they are asking for at least 20 million euros.
This season the Ukrainian athlete has already scored 10 goals in 18 matches.
