Football: Ukraine's Malynovsky scores, helps Atalanta get away with draw against Roma

A game between Atalanta and AS Roma took place in Italian Serie A. 

Ruslan Malynovsky, the midfielder of Ukraine's national team stepped onto the pitch in the starting eleven of the team from Bergamo. Soon after the starting whistle, the Ukrainian scored after a cross from the left flank. It became his fifth goal this season.

The game ended as 1-1 draw. Malynovsky left the pitch early in the second half. By the estimates of WhoScored and SofaScore, Malynovsky became the MVP for his club in the match.

As is known, Ukraine failed to qualifty to the FIFA World Cup 2022 after a home draw with Kazakshtan (1-1); the game was played on March 31. Prior to that, the Yellow Blues played two more draws, with France and Finland, which was not enough for the team to pass the qualification stage.
