Kolos, the Ukrainian team from Kovalivka (Kyiv region) played their first game in the UEFA Europe Conference League qualification. 

The squad stood against Shakhter Karaganda (Kazakhstan); after full time, there were no goals scored; nevertheless, Kolos had some decent moments and opportunities to score.

The return leg is to take place next week.

Earlier, Shakhtar Donetsk played their opener in the UEFA Champions League qualification. The Ukrainian team stood against Belgium's KRC Genk. 

The Mountaineers controlled the ball most of the game, but Belgians showed decent defending and pressing skills. This let them opened the score, as Junya Ito delivered a cross into the penalty area, and Paul Onuachu finished it with a header. 

Shakthar recovered from the uncomfortable 0-1 in the second half. First, Tete equalized the score after a penalty kick; then, Alan Patrick sealed the fate of the match, as Marlos and Ismaily delivered the ball to Genk's goals - the Brazilian just had to finish the combination, which he did easily.
