In May and June 2021, Ukraine's national football team will play three friendly games to get ready for Euro 2020. Andriy Pavelko, the President of Ukrainian Association of Football said that on air of Football channel.
Andriy Shevchenko's men will face the teams of Bahrain (May 23), Northern Ireland (June 3) and Cyprus (June 7). All three games will be played in various Ukrainian cities; Kyiv is to host the match with Northern Ireland.
The qualification stage for the World Cup 2022 will begin in March 2021. At first, Ukraine will play against France, Finland and Kazakhstan. In the Euro 2020 group, the Yellow Blues will cross swords with Northern Macedonia, Austria and the Netherlands.
Euro 2020 was postponed for 2021 due to the tough situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
