The national football team of Ukraine lost to Malta in the friendly match on Tuesday, June 6. The Yellow Blues spent a lot of time on their opponent’s half of the pitch, but could not score at all.
Ukraine failed once when their opponents served the corner at the 14th minute in the first half; Zach Muscat was the first to get the ball and open the score, which actually remained like that – 0-1.
The game was supposed to be the warm-up for Ukraine - before the next, much more important game. On June 11, Ukraine will face Finland in the qualified for FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia.
