Head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko spoke about the upcoming matches of the UEFA League of Nations. This was reported by Football 1 TV channel.
"We have 3-4 days to remember our tactical tasks, the structure of the game in order to work on our defense and attack. We are going to refresh the tasks in front of the players. A lot of players were called. Let's see who is injured, who is not, and who is ready. Then we will make the final list and fly to Lviv for the match with Switzerland. It will be 25-26 people.
I have no feelings. I just know that it is always difficult to come in when the team has not been seen for a long time. Still, we have a serious group, good rivals. There is great motivation. We have no tasks ahead of us. The only task is to perform well," Shevchenko stated.
It should be noted that the national team of Ukraine is expected to hold a match with Switzerland on September 3, and on September 6 - with Spain.
As we reported earlier, representatives of Shakhtar Donetsk FC and S.S.C. Napoli have reached an agreement on the transfer of Mykola Matviienko.
