The draw for the Europa League playoffs has officially ended. Thus, Shakhtar Donetsk FC and Dynamo Kyiv FC have finally gotten the names of their first rivals in this tournament, UEFA's official website reports.
Both Ukrainian clubs reached the 1/16 finals, finishing third in their Champions League groups. Thus, the Kyivites will face Club Brugge, and the Miners will play against Maccabi Tel-Aviv.
It is worth noting that Club Brugge got the better of Dynamo in last season's UEFA Champions League qualifying round. Shakhtar is yet to face M. Tel-Aviv within the framework of the Europa League tournament.
As we reported earlier, on December 10, FIFA refreshed its ranking of the world's national teams.
The list has not changed because there have been no games among national teams since November; Belgium still comes first, France is second, and Brazil wraps up the top three. Ukraine is ranked 24th.
