Dynamo Kyiv FC has started negotiations with Turkish Galatasaray SK over the transfer of Brazilian defender Marcão, Fotospor reports.
The Kyiv club has already made a request for Marcão’s price. Galatasaray wants to raise at least 13 million euros for its player. Dynamo intends to bargain and bring the price down.
Marcão is 24 years old, he started at Atletico Paranaense. In 2017, he went to Portugal in Rio Ave FC. Then he joined G.D. Chaves. The Brazillian player was bought out by the Turks in January for four million euros. Transfermarkt estimates the footballer at 3.2 million euros.
As we reported earlier, Dynamo Kyiv's new head coach Mircea Lucescu expects the club's players to change their mentality.
"I think that Dynamo has a good team, selection of players, talented youth. They need to change their mentality. It is important to organize the game and motivate them to be at their best in matches and training," he stated.
Lucescu added that he was not going to change anything radically.
