Roberto Firmino, the forward of Liverpool FC became the holder of Samba Gold 2018 trophy. This prize is annually awarded to the best Brazilian player who performs in Europe, Sambafoot reports.

The winner is chosen by the voting among the supporters, journalists and footballers. Firmino who scored against Man City on December 3 claimed 21.79 percent of votes. Marcelo from Real Madrid and PSG's Neymar came second and third, respectively.

Former and current players of Shakhtar Donetsk did not make it to the Top 10.

Earlier, we reported that Dynamo Kyiv's midfielder and the player of Ukraine's national football team Viktor Tsygankov can join AS Roma. Sky Sports's Gianluca Di Marzio reported that on Friday.

The Roman club's scouts did a great job this year; thanks to their efforts, Gialo Rossi signed contracts with several young and promising players. And now, the list also includes Dynamo Kyiv's 21-year-old midfielder as a possible reinforcement for the team.

Tsygankov's transfer price could exceed the estimated minimum of 20 million Euros.
