About 60 people are missing after the explosion in Beirut. This is reported by Deutsche Welle.

The death toll has risen to 154, 25 persons (out of 154) are unidentified. It is known that about 5,000 people are injured, 120 of them are in critical condition.

The Lebanese authorities have engaged Interpol to investigate explosions in Beirut, as AP news reports.

A special incident response team is heading to Beirut, which includes specialists to identify the victims. As you know, as a result of the explosion, many people remain missing.

"The experience of Interpol in providing this type of assistance can significantly help local authorities, and we will continue to provide any assistance that Lebanon asks for," the head of Interpol, Jurgen Stock said.

As we reported before, powerful explosions occurred in Beirut on the evening of August 4. The blast has damaged and destroyed thousands of homes in the Lebanese capital, and almost nothing remained of the port where the explosion took place.

Earlier, the anti-governmental protests started in Beirut, Lebanon that suffered from the powerful blast in the port.

People gathered at the streets accusing the authority of negligence due to which the explosion took place in the seaport and what destroyed quarters and left people without homes.
