Roja Fury took the lead on 25 minutes after a precise shot by Alvaro Morata. At the beginning of the second half, Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski equalized the score.
After conceding the ball, the Spaniards seized the initiative and could take the lead in 58 minutes, but Xavi Moreno hit the post. In the remaining time, Enrique’s wards have created more than one dangerous moment at the opponent’s goal, but none of them were able to convert.
Thus, after two rounds Sweden is leading in group E with four points. Slovakia is on the second place – three points, on the third is Spain – on 2 and the Poland quartet is on the close – 1.
