Spain defeated Slovakia 5-0 to advanced to the knockout stages where they will face Croatia.

Alvaro Morata missed an early penalty but it was otherwise a perfect evening in Seville for Spain against Slovakia, who are out of the tournament, with Ukraine heading through from Group C as one of the four best third-placed sides.

Aymeric Laporte, Pablo Sarabia and Ferran Torres all scored after a bizarre own goal from Newcastle's Martin Dubravka broke the deadlock at La Cartuja Stadium in Seville.

The Slovakia goalkeeper, who earlier saved a penalty from Alvaro Morata, punched the ball into his own net after Sarabia's effort hit the crossbar and looped into the air.

Juraj Kucka inadvertently completed the rout for Spain, bundling the ball over his own line from close range.

Meanwhile, today, the group stage of Euro 2020 ends with the games in the “death group”. The broadcasting of the match Germany – Hungary will start at at 22:00.

Besides, the matches Sweden – Poland, Slovakia – Spain, and Portugal – France will take place today.
