UEFA has entrusted English referee Martin Atkinson to serve the first match of the Ukrainian national team at European Championship, says the official website of the organization. The match Ukraine - Germany will be held on Sunday on June 12.
45-year-old referee has judged the game of the Ukrainian team twice. First during Euro 2016 qualification match Slovakia - Ukraine, this ended in a draw 0:0. Atkinson has also judged test match Ukraine - Brazil, where we lost with the score 0:2 in 2010.
