Marseille police service is ready to provide security during Euro-2016 not only on the streets and at the Velodrome stadium itself, but also from sea and air. Prefect of Bouches-du-Rhône police department Laurent Nuñez said this as quoted by RIA Novosti.
"During the game nights, we will launch the means for preventing possible terrorist attacks not only at the stadium, but from sea and air too, as the possibility of drone attack has been mentioned. These measures are similar to those provided during the Cannes Film Festival", Nuñez says.
