Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina won the final match of the WTA tournament in Rome against Simona Halep from Romania.
The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina beat the first racket of the world Simona Halep from Romania (6:0, 6:4) and defended the title in Rome.
For the victory in the tournament Svitolina received 507 100 euros.
We recall, Svitolina in the semifinal of the WTA tournament in Rome defeated Anett Kontaveit from Estonia and reached the final.
Svitolina needed two sets to win. In the final, Elina will play with the winner of a pair of Simon Halep - Maria Sharapova. The match will be held on May 20. The prize fund of the ground tournament is $ 3,351,720.
