Elina Svitolina (Ukraine) - Kiki Bertens (Holland) 7: 5, 6: 7, 6: 4

The Ukrainian continued her winning series in the semifinal match; her opponent was Kiki Bertens from the Netherlands. Svitolina won the previous three matches and will now play in the main match of the tournament.

'I feel great; it was a tough battle. I am very glad I could win. It means a lot to me. I am very happy to share this victory with you. Physics came to the forefront. I had to run a lot, chasing every ball. It was very, very hard. We played some excellent tennis. I am glad that I could stand up and finish this match. It would be great, but I still have a lot of work to do tomorrow', Svitolina told the press after the fixture.
'Whoever I play tomorrow, it will be very difficult. It's the last match of the season, I have to give all my strength and leave all of me on the court. I know how my opponent plays. Recovery is in the first place. 2.5 hours on the court takes a lot of effort. I need to recover and be ready for tomorrow's match,' Elina said after the match.
