FC Minaj hosted Dynamo Kyiv FC in the semifinals of the Ukrainian Cup.
Minaj showed that it was not afraid of the guests and went on the attack several times. But the class of Dynamo players was higher, and they opened the score on the ninth minute: Duelund had a sequence with Karavaev, which led to a precise shot. The guests got a penalty later in the match that was not utilized by Sol.
However, it was Duelund's second goal that secured Dynamo's advantage on the field. In the second half, Verbic scored the third goal, but it was cancelled due to offside.
Dynamo Kyiv FC has reached its 17th Cup final in history. The last time the Kyivites played there was in 2018, when they lost to Shakhtar Donetsk FC.
As we reported earlier, this year, the Ukrainian Association of Football has decided to move the final of the Ukrainian Football Cup to Lviv.
"The final of the Ukrainian Football Cup will take place in Lviv at the Arena Lviv stadium," Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi announced.
The match is expected to take place on July 8.
