Dynamo Kyiv FC created a unique project that has never been tested in Ukraine before. The club introduced its own digital currency, the token. Thus, the team entered the first dozen of football clubs that already use their own currency of such kind.
Tokens can be bought for conventional money; fans can purchase them and spend in exchange for a wide variety of items and privileges. These include a limited-series brand outfit, the right to take seats in privileged areas of the team's home arena, and even the voting right when important decisions are made by the club's management. It all can be done remotely, from the smart phone.
The team management created a special department of innovations for this purpose, The new office is chaired by Ukrainian-American businessman Mark Ginsbourg. He added that fans will even be able to exchange tokens for a five minutes-long individual training.
