Desna FC signs Estonia national team’s defender

Chernihiv's Desna FC has announced the signing of a contract with the defender of Estonia national football team Joonas Tamm, club’s website reports.

The agreement between the parties was signed under the scheme 1.5 years + 1 year. Tamm will perform at number 4. The 27-year-old Tamm is a ward of Estonian Viljandi and Tulevik.

He started his professional career at FC Flora and went to the Sampdoria youth team. At the adult level, he played for Sylvia, Norrköping, Trelleborg, Viljandi, Sarpsborg, Korola Kielce and Lillestrøm SK.

“Today, the first legionnaire appeared in the Chernihiv Desna – the club signed a contract with Estonian player Joonas Tamm. The centre-back has already joined the team at a training camp in Turkey,” the message reads.

As we reported earlier, midfielder Artem Favorov will continue his career in the Hungarian Championship, Dynamomania informed.

The 25-year-old midfielder has already signed with the new club. Puskás Akadémia FC is now ranked fourth in the Hungarian Championship. This is the first full-fledged transfer in the history of Desna FC, for which the club received money.
