Tony Bellew, the British boxer who is the next possible opponent for Olexandr Usyk, commented on the prospect of the fight with the Ukrainian, the undefeated champion of the world.

‘Usyk is an amazing fighter. We’ve sparred before; I went to a training camp in Ukraine many-many years ago. I worked with him. Olexandr Usyk is a great fighter, a brilliant one. And if they fight with me to happen – pick up the phone. I’m the best cruiserweight in the world. I’ve just beaten the former heavyweight champion of the world. The last undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world; I slayed him like he was nothing. I have a lot of respect for Olexandr Usyk – he’s an amazing fighter, a brilliant fighter. But at this moment of time, his name is down here, and my name is up there in the same list. So we need to come to an agreement; he needs to take his name to a higher rank, so that we could meet in the middle. He needs a really big follow-in, for the big networks to be behind him – like the HBO or Showtime. He deserves this. He’s a professional world champion. But his profile needs to grow, and then, I think, we can meet,’ Bellew said.
