Ukrainian boxer called his opponent Glowacki ‘a fighter with a big heart’
19:00, 7 July 2016

‘I don’t think I’m the underdog. Two strong men will appear at the ring for boxing. Yes, Krzysztof is the world champion now. But then, I’ll become the world champion,’ Olexandr Usyk said answering the journalist’s questions.

‘There will be no significant changes before the bout in Warsaw, except that I’m not going to Kyiv for sparring. I’ll prepare at a training base in the Carpathians, like I did before. Anatoliy Lomachenko, the father of my good friend Vasyl Lomachenko, helps me a lot. I watch him moving, and then I try to repeat his moves. Glowacki is a great fighter. He’s got a big heart; he’s ‘do-or-die’ kind of guy. Well, I’m not going to give in, either’, Usyk said.
