Boxing: Lomachenko wins over Crolla with KO in Round 4

Ukrainian WBA WBO boxing champion Vasyl Lomachenko defended his titles against British Anthony Crolla.

The fight lasted not for long. After short studying the opponent and several hits in the first rounds, Lomachenko continued the fight with KO to Crolla in Round 4 with a perfect right hook to the side of the head to cap off. Crolla after Lomachenko’s left hook could not continue the fight.

Thus, Lomachenko won the 13th fight on the professional ring. This KO became the 10th one for the Ukrainian champion, whit protected his WBA and WBO belts.

As it was reported earlier, Vasyl Lomachenko, the lightweight champion of the world (WBA, WBO) will get USD 2.2 millionfor the fight against Anthony Crolla. On April 12, the Ukrainian will be defending his belts from the British contender.

Lomachenko's manager Egas Klimas told the press about the Ukrainian's current shape. 'Lomachenko is doing great. He is in his best shape. He is strong both physically and mentally. I watched the preparations yesterday. He is at his peak. Vasya is working hard as usual. He is preparing for any fight as always. He is so strong mentally that the name of his opponent was never a problem for him. Maybe, he is mentally stronger than physically. He is ready as if he is about to fight with Floyd Mayweather', he said.
