Lightweight boxers Vasyl Lomachenko and Richard Commey squared off before their fight for the lightweight title.
"My whole country is behind me. I know it won't be an easy fight, but I'm getting closer. Losses are part of boxing. No matter how you lose, the main thing is to turn back. What happened in the fight with Teofimo Lopez is in the past. I took it as a man. I had it in my head that I had to go back. I did my duty. That's why Loma chose me, and now I'm sitting here. We'll see everything on fight night", Ghana's Commey said at the press conference.
"Commey has significant power and a great arm swing. He is a very strong lightweight, he has a great heart. I do not know how I will look in this bout. I can promise that I will show you everything I've got. I do what I work on in training sessions and what my father teaches me. I hope that people will understand who I am. Everything depends on my health. The main thing is to stay healthy in the course of the fight. If you are 100 percent healthy, you can perform at your best. If you are not ready for 12 rounds, there's no way they will be good", Lomachenko said.
The bout for the title of lightweight champion is slated for December 11. New York city's Madison Square Garden will host the event.
