Ukrainian WBA WBO lightweight boxing champion Vasyl Lomachenko broke his right hand during his fight with British Anthony Crolla.
The fight took place in Los Angeles on April 12. The fight ended in round 4 when Lomachenko hit Crolla’s head with his right hook. This punch was the last one.
“I broke my hand. I broke my hand due to my last punch. This is bad. We will go to the hospital tomorrow and will take the decision. This is bad because it will take some extra time. The healing can take up to 6-8 weeks, we will see,” Lomachenko said to EsNews.
Earlier, Ukrainian WBA WBO boxing champion Vasyl Lomachenko defended his titles against British Anthony Crolla.
After short studying the opponent and several hits in the first rounds, Lomachenko continued the fight with KO to Crolla in Round 4 with a perfect right hook to the side of the head to cap off.
Thus, Lomachenko won the 13th fight on the professional ring.
