WBA, WBO, and IBF world champion Anthony Joshua believes that he is more likely to fight Oleksandr Usyk than Tyson Fury in 2021. This was reported by ESPN.

"When I look at Fury, great talent, but I do not know whether he is coming or going. I do not know if he is going to fight Wilder, or if he is not going to fight Wilder, if he is going to fight [Agit] Kabayel, or if he is not going to fight Kabayel. He announced he was going to fight me, then the deal did not get signed and we are not fighting," he stated.

According to Joshua, Usyk is way more serious in this regard.

"Then you have got Usyk and he seems to be just straight. You hear he is fighting Derek Chisora and he fights him; you hear he is fighting [Chazz] Witherspoon and he fights him. I go off people who are serious," the unified champion noted.

The Brit was not able to give any specific information, but there is a big chance that Usyk will be his next opponent for 2021.

"I do not know what will happen in 2021 but if I was to bet all my money on it I would say Usyk because he is with Matchroom, straightforward fight, and his track record shows when he says he is going to fight someone, he does," Joshua added.

As we reported earlier, in his last bout, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Dereck Chisora via unanimous decision.

The judges saw the fight 117-112, 115-113, and 115-113, awarding Usyk the victory and keeping him in his spot as a mandatory challenger to Anthony Joshua's WBO heavyweight championship.
