Ukrainian boxer Sergiy Derevyanchenko and WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo held a traditional face-off on the verge of their upcoming bout.
"I like the green color of the WBC belt. I want this green belt. I fought for the title twice, but this time I am ready for 100%. It was nice to have a break after the fight with Gennadiy Golovkin. I had a good rest. I relaxed, but when I returned to the United States, I was ready to train and now I am just ready to fight. All of these things helped me. I am going to put pressure on Charlo right from the beginning. I am going to use my legs, my jab, and combinations in order to win. It is a great battle. When I win, it will open even more opportunities for me. I will be able to unify belts and take my career to a new level," Derevyanchenko said.
As we reported earlier, Oleksandr Usyk and Dereck Chisora will finally square off in the ring on October 31.
The boxers were initially scheduled to fight on May 23, but the coronavirus pandemic forced the delay.
