Bohachuk knocks Brunson out, wins WBC Continental title

The fight for the WBC Continental Americas Championship between Ukrainian Serhii Bohachuk and American Tyron Brunson took place in the USA.

Ukrainian who had not gone to the distance in all of his fights was able to finish the bout in just four rounds. In the third round, Brunson was sent to the canvas but was able to continue the fight. But after the fourth round, the judge stopped the fight. As a result, another decisive victory of Ukrainian boxer.

At this moment, Bohachuk has a perfect record consisting of 16 victories and 0 loses (with 16 wins ended in a way of stoppage).

As we reported earlier, Ukraine's Vasyl Lomachenko received another prestigious award as the recognized world champion. According to the official portal of the WBC, he is now the World Boxing Franchise Champion.

The WBC announced its decision at the 57th annual Convention.
