Ukrainian became the third in pursuit race

A women's pursuit race at the Biathlon World Cup stage takes place in the German Oberhof.

Ukrainian Vita Semerenko started from the 22nd position, but managed to pass the distance without a single miss and became the third. The victory in the race was celebrated by the Slovak Anastasia Kuzmina, the second was the Italian athlete Vierer.

Let's add that Yulia Jima took 13th place, Pidgrushna came 17th, and Anastasia Merkushyna is on 25th place.

Earlier we reported that Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina won the finale of the WTA Brisbane International over Belarusian player Aliaksandra Sasnovich.

Svitolina has been strong in both sets, winning the first one 6-2, and the second 6-1, thus receiving a decisive victory in the event’s finale.
