Bianca Andreescu beats Serena Williams

19-year-old Bianca Andreescu faced with one of the best tennis players of the modern world Serena Williams in the final of the US Open. 

Playing in the US Open championship for the first time Andreescu lost only 8 games but won confidently both sets. According to the results of the US, Open Bianca has moved into the fifth pot in the WTA rating.

As it was reported earlier, semifinals of the US Open took place on September 5. Ukraine's Elina Svitolina stood against Serena Williams; it was their sixth fixture. 

The first set proved tough for the American, but Williams still won it (6:3). Svitolina fought back in the second but eventually gave in to the tougher and more experienced opponent (6:1).  

“There were long games in the first set. She’s such a good player, two semis in a row. This is the biggest stadium for tennis on the whole planet, and I think of it that way. It’s such an honor for me and my opponent to play here”, Williams told the press
