Ukrainian WBO International Lightweight Champion Denys Berynchyk defeated Mexican boxer Patricio Moreno via unanimous decision. Immediately after the fight, Ukrainian boxer called out American boxers Gervonta Davis and Teofimo Lopez. ISport reports.
Berinchyk's fight took place at the Terminal shopping center in Brovary. Ukrainian was more active than his rival, and Moreno's fatigue was noticeable even at the beginning of the bout. In the 9th round, Mexican boxer could barely take Berinchyk’s punches. As a result, the judges scored this bout: 120-108, 120-108, 120-109.
"For today, I'm interested in fights with Gervonta Davis and Teofimo Lopez, conky jerk who talks too much. I think he will lose to Richard Commey and will be interested in fighting me. Let him send a contract to K2 (a promotional company founded by the Klitschko brothers - ed.) and I will gladly kick their asses," Berinchyk brashly claimed after the fight.
It is worth noting that Moreno called Berinchyk "a gatekeeper", despite the Olympic experience of Ukrainian and his titles.
As we reported earlier, on the same day Ukrainian Sergiy Derevyanchenko wasn’t able to secure a victory in the title bout with Gennady Golovkin. Derevyanchenko lost via decision, which caused a lot of controversies after.
