Stevenson out of coma after fight with Ukraine's Gvozdyk

Canadian boxer Adonis Stevenson who fought with the Ukrainian Oleksandr Gvozdyk for the WBC champion’s title in the light heavyweight category (up to 79,38 kg) opened his eyes and talked to his relatives, TASS agency reported.

His general condition is stable; and yet, according to the unconfirmed information, the right side of the body is paralyzed.

As it was reported, after the fight for the world champion title between the Canadian and the Ukrainian Oleksandr Gvozdyk, a 41-year-old boxer was hospitalized after Gvozdyk knocked him out in Round 11.

Thus, Ukraine got the third world champion after Gvozdyk’s fight (the others are Oleksandr Usyk, Vasyl Lomachenko and Artem Dalakian).
