2022 World Cup qualifying draw: Ukraine’s national football team to face France

The draw for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in the UEFA zone took place in Zurich. The national team of Ukraine was placed in the second basket.

So, Ukraine has been drawn in Group D, also alongside France, Finland, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kazakhstan.

The matches will take place from March to November next year, with the 10 group winners advancing automatically to the finals in Qatar and 10 runners-up heading into the play-offs.

As we reported earlier, the national team of Ukraine dropped in the FIFA ranking. Now it occupies the 24th position.

First place is taken by Belgium's national team. The Red Devils are ahead of France and Brazil. The Ukrainian national team is now ranked 24th. The Dutch team has taken 14th place, while Northern Macedonia remains 65th.
