2018 Paralympics in Pyeongchang: Ukraine's cross country skier claims gold

Ukrainian Ihor Reptyukh claimed another award for his country's medal chest at the ongoing Paralympics in Pyeongchang. The athlete won gold in the Men's 20 Km Free cross-country skiing event (standing).  

The skier previously claimed bronze in the 7.5-km event.

Thus, Ukraine currently stands third in the overall medal ranking; Ukrainian athletes already claimed nine medals - three gold, two silver and four bronze.

Earlier, Maksym Yarovy won the second gold for Ukraine at the ongoing Paralympic Games in Pyeongchang

The Paralympics kicked off in South Korea's Pyeongchang on March 9. This time, the Games involve 48 countries from across the globe. Ukraine is represented by 20 athletes competing in biathlon, cross country skiing and snowboarding.
