The New Year greeting speech of President Volodymyr Zelensky was shot in several locations in downtown Kyiv. Sources in the Office of the President reported that on December 29.
"The address was shot at four different locations: on Bankova street, in Mariinsky park, at Mykhailivska Square and next to St. Sophia's cathedral next to the main New Year tree", the Office said as quoted by Strana.ua agency.
As always, President turns to fellow Ukrainians with the speech on New Year's eve. The recording and editing works are still underway.
"It's being recorded. There's still no final version; there are various ideas that are still being discussed", the source said.
Earlier, we reported that 112 Ukraine TV channel workers created Pinetree decorations with their own hands. A New Year workshop took place at the Kyiv-based TV channel on Tuesday, December 29.
The TV hosts and their colleagues from the channel used pine trees, cotton, glass bulbs and snow flakes, dried pieces of citruses, cinnamon sticks, and other traditional attributes of winter holidays.
