During the briefing at the Unity Forum in Mariupol, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the disappearance of Crimea from the mass media saying that the information field in Ukraine had been "mined". The briefing was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV Channel.
According to the President, Crimea is absent from the mass media today and it disappeared from the media information order.
The head of state also noted the fact that citizens of Luhansk and Donetsk, regardless of their attitude to the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic and Donetsk People’s Republic are being called "separas". In his turn, the president emphasized that the norm in official rhetoric is to say - "residents of temporarily occupied territories".
“And mentioning the residents of the Crimea and Donbas, we say less and less "citizens of Ukraine”. And this is not correct. We should not forget about it,” Zelensky said.
The President of Ukraine called on society to react without anger, emotions, and slogans, to "breathe out and talk quietly".
