President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky claimed he was ready to test Ukrainian vaccine from coronavirus, if it passes the stage of clinical tests. He said so in his interview for Ukrainian TV channels, as the President's Office cited him.

"The President said that unique Ukrainian vaccine from Covid-19 has been undergoing clinical tests (not on human subjects so far). The specialists worked on the drug for some six months. The head of the state admitted that no one has developed vaccines since the Soviet times. He added that if the vaccine against coronavirus successfully passes the tests, he was ready to test it himself", the message says.

As we reported, Ukrainian vaccine against coronavirus might be produced not earlier than in a year.

"We might expect if everything goes smoothly and the electricity will never be shut off – it takes nine months. In fact, the issue is about a year,” President of DiaPrep System Inc Company Mykhailo Favorov stated.

He noted that ‘these processes cannot be accelerated’ and unverified vaccine cannot be used. Initially, all three phases should be held and get the positive results of the third phase.
