Zelensky presents state awards to participants of ATO and JFO

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented state awards to the participants of the Anti-Terrorist Operation and the Joint Forces Operation while honoring the dead soldiers with a moment of silence. This was reported by the press service of the President of Ukraine.

State awards for personal courage and dedication during the fighting, high professionalism and exemplary performance of duty were presented to military personnel during the event dedicated to the Defender of Ukraine Day.

"Every time it is a very important moment for me: when there are awards, different people, heroes approaching me. But they are all united by what they say: 'I serve the people of Ukraine!'. And we are grateful for that," Zelensky said.

During his speech, Zelensky added that participants of the military activities in the Donbas will not be deprived of their benefits.

As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented awards and promoted the ranks of Ukrainian sailors who returned from the Russian detention on September 7.
